How we make it

This cushion cover is double sided hand block printed with a blue/brown print on pale blue cotton.

Once the cloth is woven it is sent to us in our studio on the south coast of Sri Lanka
where our master tailor turns it into this beautiful cushion cover.

Good design never dates.

Cushion cover closes with a top quality YKK invisible zip.
We make the covers slightly smaller than the inners they’re made for, as we like a snug fit.

The cotton grows in the desert area of Kutch, Gujarat as it has for centuries.
It is naturally pest resistant and needs almost no water to grow.

The tassels are all made by hand.

Byzantine Circle Weekend Travel Bag – Blue

Made from two layers of our signature Byzantine Circle cotton canvas in blue and Wild Dove.

Patterned on the outside and plain on the inside. With a large zipped pocket on the inside and a smaller one on the outside.

The zips are blue. We only use the best, so all zips are YKK.

The fabric is screen printed in India and the bag is sewn with love and skill in our small stitching unit in southern Sri Lanka.

Fabric Care

The bag is a dream to wash. If it gets a bit grubby chuck it in your washing machine and it will come out like new.

Bulrush Silk Cushion – Blue

How we make it

This cushion cover is blue Matka silk on the front, which has a matte finish. It is hand block printed, and the Bulrush motif is then enhanced with a Taka (running) stitch, which outlines the motif rather like braille.

The cushion is backed with plain old blue Dupion silk. The embroidery is light blue and dark green.

Byzantine Circle Travel Purse – Blue

The small travel purse (18x11x2cm) is big enough for your essentials on a night out with separate pockets for credit cards and cash.
The large one (21x15x2cm) is the perfect travel companion: plenty of room for your passport, eye mask, lip balm etc.
The handy wrist wrap means loss is not an option.

Each travel purse is made from our signature cotton canvas fabric, patterned on the outside and lined with the same canvas in a contrasting plain on the inside. It closes with a coordinating chunky YKK zip.

When our large cosmetics purse is just not big enough and you prefer all your make-up and bathroom essentials in one place, then this is the case for you.
The box shape makes it super easy for packing, too.

Each vanity case is made from our signature cotton canvas, patterned on the outside and lined in a contrasting plain on the inside. It closes with a coordinating chunky YKK zip.
